Party Bun

Party Bun

Supplies:

- teasing comb.
- two hairties
bobby pins
hair spray

Method:

Step 1: Begin by smoothing all your hair back into a sleek high ponytail(if you have curly hair, you can either straighten it beforehand or just expect a more textured look:)). spray your head down and smooth the top for extra 'sleek-ness':) next you're going to use another hair-tie on top of the other. Pull your hair through twice, but on the last time don't pull it through all the way, but stop after creating a loop that's about 6 inches across.
Step 2: I have a lot of hair leftover at this point, but if you use up all your hair in the loop because it's shorter, that's just fine! Next you're gonna pull the loop forward and just let it nestle nicely onto your head. Pin the middle from either side, and the ends will lay in place, creating a cute little dome of hair!
Step 3: Lastly we're gonna twist the leftover hair a little, and wrap it up over the hair-tie and into the 'dome' of hair, pinning it into place out of sight. Spray it all down as usual, and you're finished!
This is the perfect style to clip a sparkly bow right in front, or high in the back!

Half Crown Braid

Half Crown Braid

Supplies:
- teasing comb
- clip
curling wand or iron
- hairspray
- 2 hair ties
- bobby pins

Method:
Step 1: Start by raising a few 2-3 inch sections on your crown and tease them for a little volume. Smooth over the top and spray a bit with some hairspray. Section off the top half of your hair and curl the bottom section in 2 inch sections for larger curls. Let down the top section (comb a middle part) and curl it as well, fluffing your scalp a bit, and spraying the whole head over with a lil' hairspray.
Step 2: Draw a little line from your ear, straight up and over your head to the other ear. Now you have two front sections. Starting at your forehead, braid one section back to your ear and then down to the end. Secure it with a hair-tie, and then tug the hair out of the braid a bit to make it fuller and looser. repeat with the other side.
Step 3: Swag one braid nice and low and around to the opposite side of your head, pinning it behind the base of your other braid. Do the same with the other braid, only tucking the end underneath and pinning securely. Spray it down again for hold, and you're done!
Again this style is so soft and romantic, and it's a fantastic way to have your hair out and curly, while still having something a little more special the

Twist Wrapped Bun

Twist Wrapped Bun

Supplies:
hair clip
rolled sock or hair doughnut
- bobby pins
- hair spray

Method:
Step 1: Separate your hair in half horizontally and clip up the top to deal with later. tie off your bottom section to one side with a hair-tie, and add your hair doughnut to the base of your little pony-tail. Spread your ponytail evenly over your doughnut and pull another hair-tie over the whole doughnut.
Step 2: Scrunch up your left-over hair and secure it in a little rounded lump to the back of your head just below your crown to help add a little extra volume for the next step(funny i know, but it'll keep you from needing to tease so much!). Tease the hair at your crown ever so slightly, choose a deep side part on the opposite side of your head from the bun, and use your teasing comb to smooth all of your hair back towards your bun.
Step 3: Holding it in your fist like you're going to make a ponytail, twist your hair together away from your bun and then wrap it clockwise around the base of it! Secure the end with a bobby pin or two, and spray to finish it up. Done and Done! Your sleek and chic bun:)

Double Gibson

Double Gibson

Supplies:
- teasing comb
- clip
- two hair-ties
- approx a dozen bobby pins
- curling iron optional

Method:
Step 1: Comb out a nice side part, and divide your hair in half, securing the top part up so you can deal with the bottom first. Pull the bottom section horizontally and directly back away from your head and tie a hair-tie around it all, about 8 or so inches away from your scalp. Tease the hair in your ponytail a little (a little extra teasing if you have shorter hair).
Step 2: Roll the ponytail upwards and towards your head in a nice little tube. Secure with several bobby pins from the inside out, then proceed to tug both sides outwards and up a little, pinning them securely as well. and you're done with your first roll!
Step 3: You're going to repeat the same steps with your top part of your hair, only this time smooth the hair up into its roll, and nestle it right on top of your first! Tug the sides up of course and pin, tug a few little fly-away's out and curl if you wish, and spritz to a finish! Done and done, and isn't it lovely?
Very classic and elegant
